Shieldex® Porto RS

Shieldex® Porto RS is a ripstop fabric made of 100% polyester, which is metallized with tin as well as copper. The shielding performance of Shieldex® Porto RS is up to 87 dB in the frequency range up to 26 GHz. The additional coating with tin means that the conductive textile can be soldered and thus enables very good contact with other components. The electrical surface resistance is up to <0.02 Ω/□. In industry, it is therefore used for many technical applications in which mechanical stress is the main focus.

It is also ideal for textile seals. But the extremely high shielding performance also means that Shieldex® Porto RS is used for products in the field of electromagnetic shielding. These include textile cable shielding, room shielding and mobile EMC tents. REACH and RoHS conformity is given.
