Antimicrobial yarn with antistatic properties - this yarn with a titre of 117dtex and an electrical resistance of <1.5 kΩ/m is ideal for antistatic applications in IT and for shielding clothing.

The additional coating (+ B) protects the silver in the yarn from mechanical stress, but has no influence on the properties of the yarn.

The sample spool contains approximately 80 meters of yarn.

Properties & Applications

Shieldex® Pisa PW is a plainweave fabric whose base material is polyester. The conductive fabric with a surface resistance of up to ≤ 0.05 Ω/□ is metallized with copper and nickel. The nickel coating gives the fabric very good conductivity and is therefore primarily used for technical applications. With an electromagnetic shielding performance of up to 80 dB in the frequency range up to 2 GHz, Shieldex® Pisa PW is also suitable for shielding products. REACH and RoHS conformity is given.

Closure Mechanism

By default, our pouches come equipped with a hook-and-loop (Velcro) closure. On request, we also offer additional closure types – including eyelets for security seals as well as a snap-lock closure. Please note that alternative closure types – as with our custom sizes – are subject to a minimum order quantity (MOQ). We would be happy to advise you individually on the options best suited to your needs.
