Properties & Applications

Shieldex® 117/17 is a Z-twisted, high-strength conductive yarn with a titre of 117 dtex. The silver-plated yarn is primarily used in the textile industry in products with antistatic and electromagnetic radiation shielding properties.

Examples include antistatic carpets, shielding clothing and curtains. The yarn with antistatic properties is OEKO-Tex® certified. RoHS and REACH conformity is given.

Custom Sizes

Depending on the design and model, our pouches in custom sizes are subject to a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 50 to 100 units. The exact tier depends on the chosen variant – we would be happy to advise you individually on the options best suited to your needs.

Closure Mechanism

By default, our pouches come equipped with a hook-and-loop (Velcro) closure. On request, we also offer additional closure types – including eyelets for security seals as well as a snap-lock closure. Please note that alternative closure types – as with our custom sizes – are subject to a minimum order quantity (MOQ). We would be happy to advise you individually on the options best suited to your needs.
