Antimicrobial, electrically and thermally conductive and antistatic - this yarn is easy to knit and offers excellent performance thanks to its antimicrobial properties. Ideal for products in the field of antimicrobial clothing (silver is a biocidal agent according to §67 of the EU Biocide Regulation) and antistatic applications.

The sample spool contains approximately 240 meters of yarn.

Properties & Applications

The Shieldex® 33/10 has a titre of 33dtex and a round cross-section. The yarn, which is twisted in the Z direction, is primarily used in the textile industry in products with antistatic, antimicrobial and electromagnetic radiation shielding functions.

Examples of this include antimicrobial and odor-inhibiting clothing, as well as electromagnetic shielding clothing, and antistatic carpets and curtains. The target market for this product is the large-scale textile industry. OEKO-Tex® certification and RoHS and REACH conformity are given.

Custom Sizes

Depending on the design and model, our pouches in custom sizes are subject to a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 50 to 100 units. The exact tier depends on the chosen variant – we would be happy to advise you individually on the options best suited to your needs.

Closure Mechanism

By default, our pouches come equipped with a hook-and-loop (Velcro) closure. On request, we also offer additional closure types – including eyelets for security seals as well as a snap-lock closure. Please note that alternative closure types – as with our custom sizes – are subject to a minimum order quantity (MOQ). We would be happy to advise you individually on the options best suited to your needs.
