Shieldex® Wrapped Yarn-coaxial

Protects what is important. Two Shieldex yarns are combined to form a flexible wrapping yarn that can be used as a coaxial cable. The core of the yarn wrapped with Shieldex® 117/17 2ply HCB is a highly conductive yarn with 117/17 dtex protected with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). By combining both yarns, a textile coaxial cable can be created.

Coaxial cables consist of an inner conductor (Shieldex® 117/17 2ply HCB TPU) surrounded by a protective outer conductor (Shieldex® 117/17 dtex 2ply HCB) that shields the inner conductor against interference.
