Monofilament yarn with a titre of 80 microns and an electrical resistance of <200 Ω/cm. The conductive yarn is mainly used for antistatic purposes in products for IT, for example.

Properties & Applications

With an electrical resistance of <200 Ω/cm, Shieldex® 80 μ monofilament is ideal for static dissipation. The conductive yarn is primarily used in antistatic screen straps and shielding braided hoses. The target market for this product is the large textile industry, especially knitting mills. Shieldex® 80 μ monofilament is OEKO-Tex® certified. RoHS and REACH conformity is given.

Custom Sizes

Depending on the design and model, our pouches in custom sizes are subject to a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 50 to 100 units. The exact tier depends on the chosen variant – we would be happy to advise you individually on the options best suited to your needs.

Closure Mechanism

By default, our pouches come equipped with a hook-and-loop (Velcro) closure. On request, we also offer additional closure types – including eyelets for security seals as well as a snap-lock closure. Please note that alternative closure types – as with our custom sizes – are subject to a minimum order quantity (MOQ). We would be happy to advise you individually on the options best suited to your needs.
