CANCELLATION POLICY

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Statex Produktions- und Vertriebs GmbH, of your decision to withdraw from this contract through a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You can use the attached model withdrawal form, which is, however, not mandatory.

You may also complete and submit the model withdrawal form or another clear statement electronically on our website www.shieldex-store.com. If you use this option, we will promptly send you a confirmation of receipt of such withdrawal (e.g., by email).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the most cost-effective standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received the notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged fees for this repayment. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You only need to pay for any diminished value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:

  • Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and whose manufacture involves an individual choice or decision by the consumer or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
  • Contracts for the supply of goods that may spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded.
  • Contracts for the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal was removed after delivery.
  • Contracts for the supply of goods that, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature.
  • Contracts for the supply of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of contract conclusion but can only be delivered 30 days after the contract conclusion and whose current value depends on market fluctuations over which the entrepreneur has no influence.
  • Contracts for the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal was removed after delivery.
  • Contracts for the supply of newspapers, magazines, or periodicals, except for subscription contracts.
  • Contracts for the supply of goods whose price is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market over which the entrepreneur has no control and which may occur during the withdrawal period.
