A silver-metallized fabric that consists of 22% elastomer, making it stretchable on two sides. The textile was specially developed for the smart wearables industry as well as for muscle stimulation (EMS) in sports and for the medical sector. The conductive textile is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified and can therefore be worn on the skin.

Properties & Applications

Shieldex® Technik-tex P130 + B is a hybrid fabric consisting of 78% polyamide and 22% elastane. The elastane is woven in the warp and weft direction, so that this extremely conductive textile is stretchable on both sides and suitable for flexible applications in the field of Smart Textiles is ideal. Due to the electrical surface resistance of <2 Ω/□, Shieldex® Technik-tex P130 + B is mainly used in technical products.

 

In particular, the conductive textile is further processed as a textile electrode for electronic muscle and nerve stimulation or for measuring vital parameters. The applied coating (+ B) protects the silver from mechanical stress. Shieldex® Technik-tex P130 + B is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. RoHS and REACH conformity is given.
